OUR STORY

The story of The Barn Events began in 2015 when our co-founder Emma Corbett attended university to study Events Management and Marketing. She graduated and worked in the wedding industry down in Geelong before making the move home to start her first business, The Styling Store together with her now-husband Jake Lucas.

In 2019, The Styling Store began designing, planning and coordinating weddings on private properties and venues in the Riverina and parts of regional NSW, VIC & ACT.

They invested in styling items and boutique hire equipment to ensure their client’s weddings remained unique and elevated.

Fast-forward to December 2021 when Jake popped the question. Their hopes and dreams to get married in their own wedding venue were starting to become a reality. The plans were drawn up and the development application submitted for the newest wedding venue in the Riverina, The Barn at Redbank.

Two years later, Emma and Jake wed on Emma’s family property, 5kms north of Ganmain due to a delay in their development application with Council.

Today, the construction of The Barn at Redbank is scheduled to finally began with the hopes of welcoming guests in 2026.

So where does this leave The Barn Events. Emma & Jake, together with their team, wanted to create a brand that connected their private property clients with their venue clients. The same great service, no matter the location. Then the decision was made to re-brand The Styling Store to exclusively offer boutique styling items and equipment hire to make room for The Barn Events to take care of all the planning, designing and coordination of weddings and events.
